O Holy St Anselm, humble servant of Almighty God, of whom nothing greater than can be thought, you expounded the ferocity of His love and devotion towards us by the magnitude of His act in most wonderfully and unexpectedly saving us from the evils, so great and so deserved, by which we used to be beset, and returning us to the enjoyment of good things, so great and so undeserved, which we had lost. We petition you, St Anselm, to obtain the grace that we desire, and intercede for us that God may grant our request if it be for the good of our soul. Amen. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be.
